This organ version of Here Comes The Bride played on a simulated Church organ as it would sound in a Catherdral. It is one minute and twenty six seconds long and has a slow walking tempo to present a traditional rendition of this very popular piece of wedding music. This copryright free and royalty free music is suitable for religious and civil weddings and all kinds of media productions, including film production, dramas, documentaries, radio jingles, website development and podcasting.
Here Comes The Bride needs little or no introduction for many people in the Western World as a it is commonly used during wedding ceremonies. Written by Richard Wagner,
its real title is the "Bridal Chorus" and it comes from the opera Lohengrin.
This longer and Classic version is played on a simulated Church organ with the reverb of a Catherdral added for the specific purpose of offering the Wedding director/organiser or media producer/film maker a different choice of arrangement and style to cater for their particular production needs. Please see the rest of the Wedding Music section for different arrangements, interpretations and other wedding music pieces. Normally played at the start of a wedding ceremony though in Wagner's opera the chorus is sung after the ceremony by the bride's maids as they accompany Elsa, the bride, to the bridal chamber. That the marriage between Elsa and Lohengrin is an almost immediate failure does not seem to deter people from using it.
