Uduhudu is a foot stomper of a Indy Rock track with a really eclectic sound and feel. Written and recorded by British group Howl Griff and mastered by the legendary Denis Blackman. Uduhudu, which yes is a strange name for a song, features lead vocals, electric guitar, electric twelve string Rickenbacker guitar, electric bass guitar, hammond organ, rock drums, backing vocals and tambourine. The tempo is quickish and the running time is three minutes and fifty five seconds.
Opening up with a hammond organ riff straight out of Deep Purple's scrap book Uduhudu is underpinned by a thumping kick drum quarter beat which keeps the tune driving through thick and thin. An oddly catchy and harmonised guitar figure adorns the verse while the upfront vocal delivers a gritty vocal that opens up into a BIG thumping chorus where backing vocals and big guitars push the rhythm with exhilarating zest. A majestic guitar solo à la Cream puts the song into overdrive while leading the song into one last herculean effort of a chorus - excellent.
Uduhudu is high octane stuff and offers the media producer, needing quick paced high energy Indy Rock music as a music bed, typical applications: action sports programs and reality television programs. Suitable for all kinds of media productions, especially film production, television dramas, television documentaries, web development and pod casts.
