A slow moving atmospheric piece of royalty free music with a running time of two minutes and fifty four seconds. Using an analogue synthesizer and a Fender Rhodes electric piano, this music creates a minimalist and futuristic sound scape. The mood is perhaps alien and one gets the impression that you could be looking at a very barren inhospitable landscape.
Excellent digital stereo delay techniques are employed here to stunning effect on both the analogue synthesizer and a Fender Rhodes electric piano so that their decaying delay taps intertwine creating an interesting and very clean ambiance. To suit all kinds of media particularly science fiction documentary and science fiction film production.
Ambient music is a musical genre focusing on the timbral character of sounds, especially when organised or performed to create "atmospheric", "visual" or "unobtrusive" ambiance. Evolving from the early twentieth century impressionists, composers such as John Cage, Morton Feldman and minimalist composers from the nineteen sixties and seventies to rock musician Brian Eno, of Roxy Music, who is said to have coined the phrase ambient music in the liner notes of his 1978 album Ambient 1: Music for Airports.
Influencing many other genres, even modern dance music found in chill-out rooms at raves and clubs, helping create a relaxed atmosphere for club goers to relax between dancing.
Composed by David Fairhall. Other music by this composer.
