This lazily, rambling royalty free music jazz theme is based around a simple blues chord progression with a syncopated off beat rhythm which has a steady, ambling, meandering pace with a moderate tempo of one hundred and sixteen beats per minute and a duration of two minutes and forty five seconds.
This is a highly visual piece that quickly paints a picture of an old broken-down cart or jalopy, courageously driving along a bumpy and rocky, hard, dirt road. One can imagine a pleasant old driver smiling and waving at passers by, totally oblivious to the hoots of traffic piling up and trying to pass him. The theme could also be adapted to a lone, tired, hop along cowboy lazily, clip-clopping on an old beat horse down a dirty, dusty road, in the heat of the day.
The main instruments employed are the piano, trombone, tin whistle, electric piano and the marimba. A composition that has definitely 'got all the time in the world for' cartoon work, animation for advertising, television, children's films, nature films and educational films.
Composed by William Peklinsky BMI. Other music by this composer.
This track is also available on Children's Music CD - Volume One.
