A highly humorous, quirky and energised piece with great animation and alternating altercations between two sets of instruments set in two different keys. Imagine a centipede with a few bum knees, maybe just twenty or thirty and you have got the idea.
This composition features staccato bowed basses, marimba, steel drums, acoustic guitar, trombone, trumpet, clarinet, mandolin, cellos and full orchestra. A very clever and witty piece of music with a good busy pace that paints a very descriptive and lively picture of an eccentric insect underworld full of fun, fantasy and movement.
The tempo of this track has one hundred and twenty five beats per minute and lasts for two minutes and fifty five seconds The music has very strong imagery such as fast, moving, idiosyncratic cars, weaving in and out of traffic, rain drops falling, lots of buildings flashing past, pedals and wheels going round, busy, focused people going to work, commerce, traffic processions, climbing stairs, sliding down, up and down movement and an underlying tension of not getting there quite fast enough.
The pace reminds one of Belle Ville Rendezvous. Superb! Excellent for cartoons and animation, children's film and television, nature films advertising and corporate films that need a humorous and industrious liveliness.
Composed by William Peklinsky BMI. Other music by this composer.
