Mozart in 21st Century 1 is a contemporary adaptation of an extract of Mozart's well known Symphony 40 in G min KV 550. Often known as the "great G minor symphony" to set it apart from his only other symphony written in a minor key, Symphony 25 in G min, whiuch is also, ofcourse, in the same key. The theme used in this adaptation is from the first movement of the symphony and is perhaps the most well known of the symphony. Amadeus Mozart wrote Symphony 40 in G min KV 550 in 1788.
With a running time of two minutes and two seconds and a moderate tempo this classical theme piece has been brought to life again with a pop/dance style backing track of electronic drums, synthesizer bass and occassional samples, over which an orchestral arrangement has been imposed.
