Pretty acoustic guitar piece in famous DADGAD tuning made famous by Bert Jansch, Davey Graham and Jimmy Page. This recording is taken from a stereo miced Martin Acoustic guitar that is played in the finger picking style.Very much a Celtic/British Folk style piece of music. The piece has a warm and happy feel to it conjuring images of green rural pastures and waterfalls and forests.
Perhaps the style of guitar playing can be likened to that of Bert Jansch, Davey Graham, Roy Harper, Richard Thompson and Jimmy Page, with the latter's famous piece Black Mountainside from Led Zeppelin's double album Led Zeppelin being an obvious influence both in name and style. Incidentally, Black Mountainside was very strongly influenced by an old Irish folk tune called "Down by Blackwaterside" which was covered by Bert Jansch on his 1966 album Jack Onion.
The length of this piece of music is one minute and forty seconds thus lending itself to nicely to media requiring a music bed with an authentic sound with a happy and attractive Celtic feel. To suit all kinds of media.
