Classical CD Volume One contains twenty two original royalty free music tracks in a classical style. The pieces on this CD range from simple and small pieces using, for example, just piano and strings (violin, viola, cello) all the way to full blown orchestral arrangements. There are also some alternative versions included on this compilation in order to provide different audio beds from singualar themes. Classical music is a general term that alludes to mainstream music stemming from traditions of Western religious and non religious music stretching from the ninth century until the present day. The expression or term "classical music" was not even used until the early nineteenth century and came about to glorify the Baroque period. Today over prescribed, the term is felt as inappropriate for mainstream and avant-garde music written in the last one hundred years or so. Perhaps one defining aspect of Classical Music is its system of its system of staff notation that leaves very little opportunity for improvisation that is often heard in non-European art music as well as popular music such as Jazz and Blues.
